F2C: Freedom to Connect

WHO: F2C is a meeting of people engaged with Internet connectivity and all that it enables, including vendors, customers, regulators, legislators, analysts, financiers, citizens and co-creators. This year, the theme of F2C is how universal connectivity and the plunging capital requirements of information production are changing our fundamental economic and social assumptions. WHAT: F2C is a two-day meeting inside the beltway where the creators of the future of the Internet meet to engage in mutual learning and exploration.

Digital Television Consumer Education Workshop (Low Income)

The Federal Communications Commission has announced that, on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, it will hold a Digital Television (DTV) Consumer Education Workshop focusing on low-income consumers. The Workshop will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at approximately 12:00 p.m., and will address issues related to ensuring that low-income consumers are prepared for the DTV transition.
